What is to offensive?

There is an event that is at Wittenberg and it is called Post It. It is held in Post 95 so I think that is where the name came from!

Well last night the acts were mediocre and one girl was really good. I enjoyed the KD girl! well then there was the "rapper" First of all he is horrible at rapping so that didn't help it at all. Next his lyrics were so degrating and disgusting that a lot of the audience actually got up and left the show. Everyother word out of his mouth was a swear word and normally F this and F that or Bitch and such. His first song was not as bad as his last act a month ago, but the second song was very offensive. He said before the song, If there are any black girls in the audience, I love you and this if for you. He went on to basically degrate black woman and the chorus was I want to F*** a black girl, I wanna F*** a black girl. My friend who is black got up and left and so did the other african american girl in the audience. My friend was feeling akward because of the audience staring at her while he sang the song. I felt offended and I wish I could have knocked him down to size. So after that song he sang about how he wants to F a pair of long legs attached to a nice body with curves. Next line was, but don't get me wrong I will do a fat girl with a pair of Double D's! That set me off right there. I dropped my phone on the table and was like, you can't handle all of this and I know he heard me cause he looked straight at me. And I said you can't even handle your hand. I was so pissed. I left after that. During the actual show though there were parents with their young children were in the lower level that is open so you can here everything. A mom made her 7 year old daughter cover her ears and leave the building because of the vulgarity of the show.

Though I was very happy to hear that there were going to be measures taken to clean up the mess he made. The class Presidents sent a campus wide email that was apologizing to every one who was offended and everyone who was there last night. and the Dean is also taking measures that I cannot remember. I just am glad to know that people heard what he did and are upset about it. The class officers said that when he auditioned that he was said that he was not allowed to have too many swear words and vulgarity. He also could not target a specific race/cultural group. He defiently crossed the line and crossed it like 50 times over.

so I am sitting on my butt watching tv because God decieded to let it rain snow for hours upon hours yesterday and i think it just stopped. but i am really glad that ryan finally changed the channel from the military channel to the Animal Planet.

i am kind of depressed because I heard a familiar voice that has rung through this house for many years and hasn't for a couple years. Steve Erwin. yes the infamous Crocidile Hunter. I miss his show but I guess he lived a great life.

this show he is in Sri Lanka. i love it! he is playing with elephants and snakes. ewwwwww snakes.... i hate snakes. wowo they just split from a truck for a freaking lizard. ewww. wow i commend him for it. he just got the claws stuck in his nipple. stupid. sorry i would not do that.

now he is going after cobra's what? no stupid! stupid!

I have had so much fun with you and was honored to know you. We have had many great times with each other starting at Brittani Reynolds' 8th grade party to the last soccer/baseball season together. You were one of the funniest guys I have ever known. You dad is a hilarious person and you were one of the biggest influences, in the humor department, in my life! There are to many moments and phrases that I have in my head. I might one day put them all on paper. Though one of my favorite moments was on the soccer bus and you had been playing a song I had not heard in like 10 years. It was the one where they were dressed as monkeys and you were singing "so lets do it like they do it on the discovery channel" love it!

I need to get away from this house. I have to move out or I am going to lose my sanity and probably fail out of college. I am so mad all the time, and that is causing me to not be able to finish my homework. I can't deal with this while I am in school. I now know where all of my stress was coming from that caused me not to have a period for 10 months. It is from this house I do love them don't get me wrong but frankly I need to get out. I have to.

Random Thought 1: I freaking love Secret life of the American Teenager!!! I was so anxious to see what happens. So far I actually missed the first 15 mins of it so I am going to have to see what happens! But Molly Ringwald goes, in a clam tone ( excuse the language) ape shit on Ricky's dad!!!!!! Just checked and they havn't put up the new episode. D&^&%&. I want to see it!. Oh well I will wait. I do wonder if he had a break down though, that is Ricky. Tension is rising between Amy and Ben. Break Down has occured! It was intense. Tears welled up in my eyes. Don't laugh I have a soft heart. I cry a lot. It is natural.

Random Thought 2: My music classes are getting hard. Very Hard! But I am up for a challenge. I am happy for a challenge. Though a group of people went to the Atlantic Brass to see a quintet of Brass players, who were really really good. Much fun, and then drum roll. 4 college boys walk in and they were like 6'6. that is freaking nuts. OMGoodness Allison and I both had our jaws dropped for minutes and then we all talked about inviting them to Youngs Jersey Dairy but they were closed. Darn Darn Darn...... I was mad, but good news they go Wittenberg!!!

Random Thought 3: My oldest bro is getting married and I love the girl! I am so happy that he didn't choose a u know what! I was so excited to here the news, but kind of mad I wasn't in Ohio to be there. Florida was calling my name! But the wedding is on its way and I was honored to be a bridesmaid and I have my dress! Beta Beta Beta, I made it out of clay

so this week has been rush week for the frats and sororities. last night was bid night and all of the houses had little parties for their parties for their new pledges. the parties opened up at midnight for the rest of the campus and i went to my house of choice, the Beta's! Their parties are always fun and the have music. Last night it got off to a slow start but once more ppl came it ended up being an awesome night. we danced and danced and thin i had to use the potty. well the one thing doesn't ever work out is that all of the beta's never ever have toilet paper. so if you have to use the bathroom and u have a vajay jay then you are out of luck. last night i had to pee so bad that i almost went to my cousins house to go pee. but it was quite cold outside and i was to tired for that. then i went back to the door and saw one of the beta's and he asked if i was heading home and i told him no. i was just trying to find toilet paper. then i ended up talking to one of the new beta pledges who said he would walk me to anywhere i needed so i didn't have to walk alone, then he offered his coat. who said chivalry is dead? he is really nice. he also advised me to bring some tissues or some toilet paper to the next party so i don't have to walk some where else. good idea vincent! i then went back in and another pledge walked upstairs and got me toilet paper so i could use the bathroom. love him! the night ended well, and i walked some friends to their dorm and met my other friends who were walking to the party and we went back to their dorm. i tryed to sleep but i ended up watching part of a movie with kaytee and ashely. ten i went to sleep. woke up at 8:55 and went to work. now i have a headache from hell, and i had nothing but water last night. that is messed up. makes me angry.
well what can i do?

what really happens at work!

ok so I work at the student center on Wittenberg's campus every Sat and Sun morning from 9 am -12 pm. it is so boring but there are some good things about it. one. i have 4 hours to do my homework and get payed. two, there are those good days when god blesses me with frat boys who like to stand in the lobby and just look pretty and football players that are seniors in high school that are being recruted, i would never say this because ppl would say it is robbing the craddle but i just graduated high school so it isnt. three, i can watch all of the movies i want for free. yes they might not be the best quality but hey its free. hence the reason i am writing this particular blog.

I just got done watching one of the cutest movies that has been out in 2009. it is called hotel for dogs. it is about siblings who are foster kids and they rescue strays and keep them in a hotel. they have to deal with their idiot foster parents who haven't left the 80's. i am not going to tell you the entire movie because i would ruin it for everyone, and i don't want to do that.

you have to watch this movie. i know that my aunt's would love it. they are pet sitters. i dont know how to describe it any other way. it is a heart warming film that will have you thinking about what really happens to strays.

ok, so everyone has a show that somebody will make fun of them for. well I have mine and I don't give a flyin' fig what people care about. I LOVE the Secret Life of the American Teenager!!! LOVE IT! I don't know why but I do. I love how some tv company had the balls to make a show about a 15 yr old pregnant girl who is not in love with the childs father but another 15 yr old who is rich and loves her. this show doesn't say having sex is good, instead it shows what can happen if you have unprotected sex. BABIES. It goes through all of the hard ship of Amy (prego girl), her sister, her divorcing parents, Ricky (baby daddy) Ben( guy she really loves, but wants to marry so she doesn't have to really do anything when the baby comes).

Mondays show was intense. OMG i have been waiting for Ricky to break down and I think it will be coming this next Monday. His dad came back to get revenge on Ricky because when Ricky was a kid his father sexually abused him and just abused him. Dad's on parol looking for him and he plans on getting to everyone he is close to. He went to go and talk to Amy, well he actually kind of stalked her for a couple of hours. Then he called Grace's house and asked for Ricky and Grace's brother Tommy (downsyndrome) he told him where they were without realizing what he just did. Then Tommy calls Jack, Grace's ex-boyfriend, and says some bad man is going to do something to Ricky and Grace and he needs Jack to take him to the batting cages. Well never the less his dad shows up, strikes up conversation with Grace and then Jack wonders who the guy is and and says something. Ricky hears his dad's voice and rushes over to basically beat the crap out of him with a baseball bat. Jack stops him and says don't do anything, but nobody but a few people know the truth about his father. I am soooooo anxious for monday!!!! i cannot wait! I want to see what his father does. It has to be bad, or it is just the fact that he is there, because Ricky starts to break down and sits and cries in his car.

after this happened, amy decides she is thinking about adoption. Ben does not want her to and she talks to Ricky about it, and he is REALLY against the idea of that. so amy has no job, is pregnant and still wants to keep her normal life. i think she will be ok she just needs to get her head on straight and know that no one is going to raise that baby for her. and she can have ben saver her. she needs to do this herself. so this is one of my favorite shows


i would go on but i have a theory class that is calling. I don't want to but i have to go.

So, yesterday I was giving the privalige to learn the Clarinet, AGAIN. I am horrible at it and I quit the band when I was in 6th grade because I did not like it. Now i am in a Woodwinds methods class and we have to learn the Flute, Sax, Clarinet, Obeo and basson. I am not looking forward to this but hey I will give it a try. I am super tired. This semester is kicking my butt! I have not had enough sleep since break. I NEEEEEEEED SLEEP. Oh and my entire arm is falling asleep while i type this.

So, we (music education majors) must observe different classrooms and different teachers for a class. yea well I have no idea why I made the stupid mistake to ask my high school director if we could come to her class. She obviously said yes and then she told me we would be going to her middle school choir at 7:30 am. I have not gotten up that early since the end of July. I have gotten spoiled. I have one more class to go to but I wonder how I will get through it.

so staying up until 4 am is not the smartest idea! especially when you have to work at 9 am. it was fun but it was bad. so i got back from my confrence in columbus. took a shower and then just chilled with the family. got a bit of nap in there too, before i left again. i got to go and hang with some of the music educations majors. it was fun. we watched zack and miri make a porno, though we didn't get get all the way through. so far though that movie is freaking hilarious. going to have to watch it all the way through. then we watched 40 year old virgin. and again that movie is sooooo freaking funny!!!! I laughed so much on that! it was so fun to hang with kali, lauren and brien. his roomie was watching with us for a while but then left. its cool though. then we watched RENT!!! love it!!!!!!! i love singing the songs! brien, kali and i were the only ones still there and we sang to almost every song! i did fall asleep though about 2 something and then brien woke me up, telling us to leave. i wished i could have just slept but i went back and stayed with kali. her floor is harder than a u know what! ;) it was also wet from our shoes. but i got to sleep for about 4 hours. i didnt fall asleep until 5. then work.

work sucked some big butt. i was tired and just wanted to go home. it was nice to meet this doggy! he was so sweet! his name is Higgens! it that was fun and then the guy who takes the shift after me is really sweet. and cute!

OMEA Confrence 2009

I had one of the best weekends of my life! Since I am a music education major we have a confrence every year in either Columbus of Cinnci. So it was in Columbus this year at the convention center. It was awsome! I got to meet some cool people that are composers and song writers. I also had the pleasure to meet and listen to Chanticleer. I will recomend this group to you because it was all accapella, and the guys were amazing. I mean a-freaking-mazing. I never have heard anything like that. I am fosho going to find out when they are coming back to Ohio. Buying a ticket for that Show!!!! They were the best that I have heard!! EVER! I bought one of their CD and then I got them to sign it, and I got pictures with two of them! I really wanted to meet the Black singer because he sang higher than any soprano! So Thursday night was really really fun!

Friday Night: We went to Max and Erma's and had so many conversations that should not be had! And there was this bellhop that was the coolest and the nicest! Pictures are coming! He was so sweet and he would say "well God love ya!" he was so nice! I am so sad that I don't get to wake up to him saying Good Mornin' Ladies! God love Ya!!! He was so sweet! He also gave us courage to walk across the street because it was a crosswalk and he told us the cars would stop for us! Not to sure about that! Love him! So nice!

Then we went to the pool and none of us had any swimming trunks except Megan, so we went in our pajama's. My friends and I ended up actually swimming in our undies! It was so much fun! NO Pictures coming on that! It was fun though! FUN FUN FUN WEEKEND!

falling is hard...

So falling sucks big time! I babysat for some good friends of mine and when I left there had been a major snow fall. While I was walking out to my car my friend was telling me to be careful, and I said "I will!" Next thing I know I am on my back with an extra shot to the shoulder. I had slipped on a patch of ice that extended all the way to my car. I got in the car and then tried to go forward, but the car did not have any plans of going forward. I was sitting in my car and as I pushed on the gas and then I would shove my body forward to try and shove the car forward. That didn't work and only left me sore. I finally called Tracey and told her I was still in her driveway and I was stuck. So she came out and tried to push the car, but it didn't go.
Then she told me I should back up! Haha, me back up! There is a gaint tree behind my car and I would not back up because of the ice and my track record of backing up. She ended up backing up for me and getting me to the top of the driveway. Then I got really excited becasue there was a plow going right in front of me, but the jerk face did not put down the plow. He just drove by. So I had to drive 25 mph all the way home so it took me 20 minutes to get home instead of 5 mins.

First Day of Spring Semester.

Ok, for you who do not know I am a freshman at Wittenberg and I am a music education major. I do not know why I picked this major, only I do. I know that I love to teach people and I love music. Singing, playing piano and just listening to music. I started last semester with Music Theory 102 and I went in there thinking, hey I am good at reading music and all that. Well, those dreams got crushed with in the first class. Not only was the class hard, the teacher was such a mean, and horrible teacher. He did not teach, and would talk down to you if you asked a question. I know we should not make comments towards him but it was just there. After all he said, we felt like we had a right. ( his jokes suck big ones!) Also I am horrible at tapping and clapping rhythm, which he made funny of me all the freaking time. I felt like an idiot in that part.

I was so excited/really nervous for my new classes. All my friends and I (aunt leslie!) have the same classes since we are all music education, so big plus and great way to get off to a great start. I got to my Intermediate Mus. Theory class and was very excited because my new teacher (who is not new, just to me) would actually explain things to the class and he would make us feel comfortable with our knowing/not knowing. Next I was able to have a little break and hang with a friend I hadn't seen since the begining of break. Then on to The Devils class. (See first paragraph) I was so scared that I would be just as bad as I was in the first class. When we got in there, it was a totally different atomosphere, and I didn't feel like an idiot! I learned the basic conducting motion. Next was woodwinds, I will be learning how to play the obeo, clarinet, and 2 others. Next was Keyboarding! Boring on the first day cause I knew how to do all of the first chapter!

Work was fun, cause I got to hang with the co's! nice to have some friends outside of the major! Got home to Watch Superstars of dance!

That was my first day in a nut shell! It was so awsome! I have a good feelling about this year and semseter!
